Cooking
I’m not sure what you would call such an occasion. But I think when i get my own place I wouldn’t mind regularly entertaining some close friends. With (Dinner Parties) that’s the word i was looking for. Yes I would really enjoy throwing one of those maybe like twice a month or maybe every weekend someone could throw one in there house to shake it up a little bit. What do you think?

I wonder how other people take good or bad news. The sort of news I’m talking about is the type that lets you know (A) How old you are (B) Your current status in life whatever the situation might be. Speaking from experience I don’t really know how to handle any situation with the outlined symptoms, Now that I’m older that is. Saying that i used to become very depressed. Now I would say i just take it on the chin. But these days, I try to be more positive and find a healthy outlet. :]

Okay so i was in ASDA last night with my dad, doing some shopping and there was this girl about my age who had the most incrediblur fashion sense I’ve ever seen. She had it all. I just thought i would share that random subject. I was going to blog it last night but i was way too tired.

Recommended album to listen to right now. Now at this very moment in time. This Indie filled moment…whatever that means! I suggest to anyone who enjoys music to check out Corrine Bailey Rae’s new album - The Sea
It’s the greatest invention since I don’t know when. But please just listen to it. If you don’t know who she is. She’s an awesome musician/singer song writer & she’s a Christian. which i doubt would deter anyone from listening to her music at all. But anyway just check out out.

Spicy Salt-And-Pepper *Squid

Ingredients
- 10-20 Dried red Chilli
- 3 tablespoons Salt
- 2 tablespoons black peppercorns
- 2 tablespoons Sichuan peppercorns
- 500 g Rice flour tempura flour
- 1 kg Squid Just the body and legs
- 500 ml Peanut Oil
- 2 tablespoons Coriander chopped
- 2 Limes Cut in half for squeezing
Directions
- Dry roast spices (salt, both types of peppercorns and chili) in a pan over a low heat until salt starting to turn golden and spices fragrant.
- Place into a mortar and pestle and cool.
- Once cool grind with the mortar and pestle to a fine consistency.
- Mix through the rice flour.
- Heat oil in a wok or saucepan to 180 degrees Celsius (a sugar thermometer is the safest and best way to check your temperature).
- Cut squid into thin strips (or score lightly with knife and cut into larger pieces) keep the legs whole.
- Dust lightly in the flour mix and cook a small batch at a time to retain the heat in the wok to give your squid crunch.
- Drain onto absorbent paper and place onto you plate.
- Serve with some chopped coriander over the top, a bit more salt if you wish and also some lime wedges, great with an Asian beer.
*This recipe works well using prawns or tofu
Now this is what I’m talking about Sophinie i would eat this i love squid cooked in this style, I enjoyed it once at a Cantonese style Chinese restaurant and I’ve loved the taste every since. So once I move out i will be cooking this for myself and posting the pics ;)

Really trying to get things in order at the moment with my life and such, I’m very tempted to attept to run my own Studio Design company. But at the same time, I’m thinking about how much time i have at the moment and how soon I’m going to be working on my music. To be honest i think I’ll take it a little bit at a time. First i’ll focus on working for non prof like i am already and then second i’ll start my music, And try a push it the same way Allison Weiss and Lauren Zettler are doing with there music career.

It’s funny how someones life can be on hold for so long you really almost begin to beleieve nothing will. But it’s holding on to that “HOPE” that God gives us when we think of the awesome things he’s doing, I mean just look were breathing that’s enough to be happy with and never recieve anything else in life. The right now with God is where we need to be.
